Case Study: Hundreds Served in 2 Hours for AT&T Activation in Philadelphia

Brand activation case study · Philadelphia region

Hundreds of soccer fans. A two-hour service window. Hot chocolate with AT&T branding right on top. New Life Coffee Company brought a fully branded hot chocolate bar to AT&T's pregame activation at Subaru Park in Chester, in the Philadelphia region, before a U.S. Women's National Team match.

For this event, the beverage experience needed to do several things at once: welcome a large crowd, reflect the brand, accommodate dairy-free requests, and fit into a busy pregame schedule. We served from AT&T's custom bar, pairing premium hot chocolate with custom cups, branded aprons, and printed latte art on the whipped cream.

AT&T branding, from the cup to the final topping

A branded beverage bar gives guests something they can actually enjoy while spending time with a brand. At Subaru Park, the experience extended from the service station to the drink itself.

Custom AT&T cups and branded aprons tied the service into the activation's visual identity. The finishing detail was custom branded latte art printed directly onto the whipped cream. The AT&T logo sat on top of the hot chocolate, creating a distinctive presentation that guests could see before taking their first sip.

For experiential marketing agencies and DMCs, those details offer several ways to connect beverage catering to a campaign. Cups, staff attire, drink artwork, and the bar can work together to carry the same brand through the guest experience.

Hot chocolate catering for hundreds of guests in two hours

Pregame hospitality comes with a clear deadline: kickoff. With hundreds of guests arriving during a two-hour window, efficiency was central to this AT&T activation.

Our service brought together high-volume hot chocolate catering and the custom finishing touches that made each drink part of the event. The goal was to keep service moving while preserving the quality and presentation guests came to the bar to enjoy.

That balance matters to Philadelphia event planners managing fan experiences, sponsor activations, or short hospitality windows. The expected crowd, menu, and available service time need to work together. A beverage partner should build the service around your schedule and anticipated demand.

Premium ingredients and dairy-free menu options

The branding drew attention, and the hot chocolate gave guests a reason to return. We used premium ingredients to create a rich, satisfying drink that kept guests coming back for more.

The menu also included dairy-free hot chocolate options for guests with dairy allergies or dairy-free preferences. Accommodating those needs was part of designing the beverage experience for a broad audience.

When planning hot chocolate catering, we discuss the menu and ingredient requirements alongside the event's branding goals. That helps planners choose beverage options that fit their guests as well as the occasion.

Serving from AT&T's custom activation bar

AT&T already had a custom bar designed for the activation. We set up our beverage service on that bar, allowing the hot chocolate station to fit directly into the existing event design.

For a DMC or event production team, that flexibility can be especially useful. Your beverage service can complement a custom scenic build, sponsor installation, or hospitality space. Alongside our mobile coffee carts, we can discuss setting up on a client-provided bar, with equipment, workspace, and venue requirements confirmed during planning.
